What we collect

Information you give us, for example when you book a call, use the chat, fill in a form, email, call or text us:

• ✦Contact details: name, email, phone number, business name, city and service area.
• ✦Business details: the services you offer, your typical job size, how you get leads today, and anything else you tell us about your business.
• ✦Messages: what you write to us in chat, email or text, and notes from our calls.
• ✦Billing details if you become a client. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.

Information we collect automatically when you visit the site: device and browser type, IP address, rough location (city or region), pages viewed, and the site that sent you here.

Information from public sources. We research remodeling businesses we think we can help, using public business listings (such as Google Maps), business websites and public state contractor license records. This is business contact information, such as an owner's name and work email.

How we use it

• ✦To answer you, book and hold calls, and send reminders.
• ✦To prepare for a call, for example by reviewing your ads, website and reviews.
• ✦To provide our services to clients and to bill them.
• ✦To send marketing to businesses, which you can opt out of at any time (see Your choices).
• ✦To improve our website and services.
• ✦To keep our systems secure, prevent fraud and spam, and meet legal duties.

AI tools help us answer and sort messages and draft replies. The companies behind those tools process your messages only to provide that service to us. A person at RMD oversees this work.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, reminders and our services. How often depends on your conversation with us. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our phone and texting platform).

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.

We share it only with:

• ✦Service providers that run our business for us: our CRM and booking platform, website hosting, email, texting and calling, data storage, AI tools and payment processing. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
• ✦Professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants.
• ✦Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights, safety or property.
• ✦A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or merged.
• ✦Anyone else you ask us to share it with.

When we work for a remodeler

If you are a homeowner who contacted a remodeling company we work for (for example through its ad, website or a text), we handle your information on that company's behalf, to respond to you, book your estimate and follow up. That company decides how your information is used, and its own privacy policy applies. We don't use your information for our own marketing, and we don't sell it. You can still contact us with any request and we'll pass it to the right company.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses only the cookies our chat and booking tools need to work (they are provided by our CRM platform, LeadConnector). We do not currently use advertising pixels or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this section first.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the chat and booking tools may not work.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for it, so we don't respond to it.

Your choices

• ✦Emails: use the unsubscribe link or reply "unsubscribe", and we'll stop marketing emails to you.
• ✦Texts: reply STOP.
• ✦Calls: tell us not to call you and we won't.
• ✦Your information: email team@leadsbytmd.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may need to confirm it's you first. We answer within 45 days.

These choices are open to everyone, wherever you live. Some state laws (for example in California, Oregon and Washington) give their residents specific privacy rights. We honor those rights where they apply to us, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, including legal, tax and accounting needs. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record so we don't contact you again.

Security

We protect information with technical and organizational safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee it.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child gave us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Other websites

Links to other websites and tools are not under our control, and their own privacy policies apply.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shown clearly on this page.
